Environmental Certifications

The Environmental Sustainability Certification of Buildings (optional for private individuals but mandatory for public entities), together with environmental protection and living comfort measures already introduced by the L.R. 17/2008, place Umbria in the role of leader in the sector of the dissemination of sustainable building criteria.

Of fundamental importance are the volumetric bonuses envisaged by the “House Plan” for the buildings that are given in the preliminary classes the Classes A or B of the Environmental Sustainability Certification of Buildings. In practice, the Environmental Sustainability Certification of Buildings is increasingly becoming an opportunity and the certificate issued that will be exhibited on the building and accompany the changes of ownership will be proposed as a qualifying indicator in the real estate market.

In the case of the design of new buildings, in order to favor an estimate of the environmental quality characteristics of a building prior to the construction of the building, its design can be submitted to Arpa only once for each building unless the cases provided by the current regulations, for a preliminary Environmental Sustainability Assessment which, once possessed, must be attached to the Certification request that is carried out at the end of the work.
